Job Responsibilities
This position is for our second shift : Monday-Friday, 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operate multiple mills, lathes and CNC machines for the manufacturing process
- Monitor machine operations to ensure finished products and components meet quality and productivity measures
- Meet daily production requirements
- Operate all machinery, tools and equipment safely
- Perform daily machine maintenance—coolant level, oil level, chip removal, etc.
- Follow blueprints and work instructions
- Perform offsets to keep parts within tolerance
- Replenish, stock and sort needed supplies
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards
- Report problems to trainer
- Perform general shop duties as assigned and assist in other areas as workload requires
