What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Product Manager (Supplemental Health) position at Lincoln Financial Group?
What you'll be doing
- Defines the vision and success measures for prioritized product offering(s) in collaboration with key business stakeholders and peers
- Develops and manages product roadmaps for product offering(s), integrating the product strategy, inclusive of timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Proposes solutions to stated business problems, assesses alternative solutions and identifies gaps based on their knowledge of the product and how clients use the product
- Assesses value, develops cases, and prioritizes stories, epics and themes to ensure proper linkage with the product strategy
- Elicits product ideas from relevant stakeholders and converts them into potential features, requirements, and user stories to realize customer and business value
- Collaborates with key stakeholders and / or management to gather and support prioritization of product requirements, providing recommendations, as appropriate
- Balances stakeholder priorities and development team(s) capacity in order to aid in achievable roadmap and delivery targets
- Ensures complex product offering requirements are clearly documented and articulated, including formal communication and presentation for business stakeholders
- Collaborates effectively with appropriate stakeholders and management on complex issues and conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality and risk of assigned projects, develops and executes mitigation plans
- Develops and communicates key metrics to determine business value generation that provide management and key business stakeholders with quantifiable gauges of the delivery of business results

The pay range for this position is $93,300 - $169,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
