The Role at a Glance
The Sr. Analyst, Accounting Controls & Operations will ensure consistency in suspense reconciliation reporting across the organization, provide technical accounting support for complex transactions, and collaborate with key stakeholders, including finance, legal, and external auditors. They will engage in projects involving accounting systems and establish detailed accounting workflows that impact financial controls across all product lines.

The Role at a Glance

What You'll Be Doing
- Conducts complex research and analysis to support accounting objectives and presents findings to appropriate key stakeholders.
- Provides subject matter expertise to internal and/or external stakeholders on the assessment, selection, and implementation of complex solutions and/or alternative approaches that will improve current practices and/or achieve business goals.
- Facilitates change to the organization through the complex analysis, design, and implementation of processes that achieve business objectives.
- Advises and collaborates with key internal and/or external stakeholders to elicit complex issues, determine root cause(s), and capture needs.
- Compiles and documents complex business needs and organizational impacts in preparation for and/or in support of Finance requirements.
- Provides complex testing support as needed.
- Identifies, defines, evaluates, and resolves problems within functional unit or area of expertise by seeking win/win solutions when conflicts arise.
- Identifies key cross-functional issues and project synergies and provides guidance.
- Analyzes assigned project and/or program plans to validate if outcomes will meet department needs and align/support accounting objectives.
- Determines and recommends the most appropriate response to complex problems, issues, and/or defects by assessing impact and prioritization.
- Continually evaluates initiative priority including support requirements as needs change and evolve.
- Serves as a mentor and shares knowledge with junior and/or peer team members.
Must-Haves
- 5-7 Years experience in accounting or operations that directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical skills and close attention to detail is necessary
- Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment
