The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client who is seeking CNAs on a per diem basis to assist with coverage at their facility.
Type of Hire : Per Diem
Title : CNA
Location : Greater Amarillo Area
Work Schedule : Per Diem
Compensation : $20-22 / hr. (Mileage reimbursement as well)
PRINCIPAL DUTIES :
- Assist patients with tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen levels.
- Report any health concerns to nurses and other medical staff, and serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients who may be feeling lonely, anxious, or frustrated.
- Ensure patients' rooms are clean and stocked with necessary items, including medical supplies and personal toiletries.
- Administer prescribed medications as directed by the healthcare team.
- Change dressings and assist with basic wound care as needed.
- Assist in setting up medical equipment such as oxygen, IVs, or portable X-ray machines.
- Accurately document patient intake and output, as well as any changes in condition or concerns.
- Monitor for signs of injury, such as bruising, blood in urine, or other physical abnormalities.
IDEAL CANDIDATE :
- Active CNA certification
- Compassionate and empathetic, with a strong desire to help others
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a healthcare team
- Ability to travel to various locations within the San Antonio area
- Flexibility with shifts and assignments
