The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the consumer goods industry in search of a Controller to join their team on a direct-hire basis! The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role includes managing financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and regulatory compliance while maintaining confidentiality.

Location: Henderson, NV (hybrid)
Compensation: up to $150K plus benefits
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Oversee the accounting department, financial controls, and transaction processes.
- Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including GAAP and IRS tax codes.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial performance.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights to support capital investments, pricing, and contracts.
- Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal audit controls.
- Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings and compliance.
- Conduct weekly financial reviews for various business operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES:
- Minimum 7 years of supervisory-level accounting experience.
- Strong expertise in GAAP and financial regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (online/desktop) and Excel.
- Experience in cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry; manufacturing or retail experience preferred.
- Knowledge of IRS Tax Code 280E and experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small accounting team.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Primarily office-based with low to moderate noise levels.
- Regular exposure to industry-related environments.
- Requires ability to sit, stand, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
