What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Delivery Inspector position at Lincoln Industrial LLC?
The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the transportation and logistics industry in search of a Pre-Delivery Inspector to join their team! The Pre-Delivery Inspector will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for the PDI of vehicles per manufacture specs.
Type of Hire: Temp-to-Hire
Title: Pre-Delivery Inspector
Location: Oxnard, CA
Work Schedule: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm(OT as needed), Mon - Fri
Compensation: $18.50/hr
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Inspection of vehicles to include cleaning, removal of markings, stickers, and installation of throw in items and light accessories.
- Maintain work area in a clean condition.
- Self-motivated with ability to operate in fast paced deadline drive environment.
- Perform and record inspections as required by vehicle manufacturers noting deficiencies for rectification and body shop.
- Adhere to establish equality, environmental, and safety standards.
- Ability to keep up with and meet daily production standards and work overtime when needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma.
- Some knowledge of hand tools.
- Ability to read, write, and understand detailed instructions.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
