We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including urgent care, level I trauma center, PICU, internal medicine, and outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and documenting patient information
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Administer medications under the direction of physicians
- Schedule patient appointments and tests
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
- Previous experience in a medical setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
