LPS Student Services is seeking applicants for a Re-Entry Team Leader. This team leader will assist in the development of a more seamless and effective process for secondary students transitioning from community-based placements, interim learning environments, and detention facilities. They will collaborate with district leaders to implement preventative practices to improve student outcomes and safety.
The Re-Entry Team Leader will participate in a thorough review of current district and school policies related to attendance, behaviors, and discipline to determine areas of weakness or bias in LPS practices that should be addressed in a new system. They will facilitate training for stakeholders, liaison between students, families, and schools, and provide coaching regarding the process of welcoming a student back into a more traditional learning environment.
This is a grant-funded position scheduled to conclude at the end of the 2026-2027 school year, with the possibility of continuation pending available funding.
This position is subject to a veterans preference.
