Job Description

Department of Early Childhood: Office Professional III, Registrar, 260 Days, 8 hrs

Registrar for Early Childhood: Preschool and the Student Parent Program

The successful candidate has successful customer service experience, superior oral and written communication skills and a strong desire to respond to family and staff inquiries. Candidates must have a passion for supporting families and working on a team in a collaborative fashion. The environment is fast paced with multiple tasks going on at one time. Candidate needs to: Be a positive team member who can establish a professional and respectful rapport with families, staff, and visitors. Knowledge of Docushare, Excel, Word, Power Point, Google systems, and willing to become proficient in their use. Previous experience with Synergy is preferred.

This position provides support and assistance to the preschool application process and maintains responsiblity for enrollments, adds, drops, transfers of children in LPS preschool, children in the student parent program as well as Educare enrollment records.

Must be able to work independently, maintain accurate records and enter data on Synergy with accuracy and efficiency. Candidate must understand the importance of working on a team and willingly accepts opportunities to support team members and takes the initiative to do so. Ability to create systems and processes for efficiency and organization are necessary. Requires confidentiality of student records and information.

Required: Applicant must be able to work independently and with others, be able to multi-task, have strong organizational skills, oral/written skills, word processing and data entry skills, HS diploma or GED.

This position is subject to a veterans preference.
