What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Teacher position at Nebraska Department of Education?
- Unit and lesson planning based on developmentally appropriate practices
- Execution of daily lesson plans
- Maintaining positive school-home relations
- Maintaining a safe, clean and positive classroom environment
- Day to day record keeping
- Supervising aides and Volunteers in the classroom
- Attending planning meetings, IEPS & MDTs as required
- Acquiring or maintaining CPR/First Aide Certification
- Clearing all required Background checks
- Completing additional training as needed
Ideally possess a Nebraska Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood or Elementary Education or an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education
