Role Summary: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day facility operations while ensuring a safe, efficient, and supportive environment. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for educating, training, and guiding staff on their responsibilities to enhance the quality of client care.
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the Director of Operations, oversee and manage the daily activities of Behavioral Health Technicians, ensuring execution of their responsibilities.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to staff on operations procedures, documentation standards, and client interaction protocols.
- Oversee and assist Behavioral Health Technicians during new client intakes including orientation, search personal belongings and vehicles, and administer urine analysis, and admission paperwork.
- Oversee and assist Behavioral Health Technicians while monitoring clients during detoxification process.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all client-related and operational documentation.
- Maintain staff schedules, ensuring coverage for shifts and operational needs.
- Manage client crises, de-escalate situations, and provide guidance to staff in crisis intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure client needs and concerns are addressed.
- Identify individuals under the influence of alcohol and/or substances, and report and document findings as required.
- Motivate clients to actively participate in their recovery and offer support during difficult moments.
- Respond to emergencies and initiates action as required.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and required monthly trainings.
- Respect and maintain the confidentiality of all client information in accordance with facility policy and HIPAA regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Operations to support overall facility operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a residential treatment facility, substance abuse program, or behavioral health setting, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges in client care and facility management.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, particularly overseeing direct care staff such as Behavioral Health Technicians, with the ability to manage, train, and evaluate teams effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and build rapport with both staff and clients.
- Possess knowledge of HIPAA.
- Preferred candidates should be able to work well within a team and independently, effective communication skills, time management, ability to problem solve, and strong professional boundaries.
- Preferred candidate must be sensitive to religious, ethnic, and cultural differences.
- Familiarity with AA, NA, and/or SMART Recovery.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification or willing to obtain
- Must successfully complete Background Check, Drug Screen, and TB Test
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk for prolonged periods, and climb stairs.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to occasionally work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Salary:
At Lincoln Recovery, we value transparency and equity. The pay range for this position is dependent on experience and qualifications. Entry level candidates can expect to the start at the lower end of the range. Candidates with substantial experience and expertise may qualify for compensation at the higher end of the range.
