What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) - Part-time position at Lincoln School District?
Lincoln School District is seeking a part-time Speech and Language Pathologist for the 2025/26 school year. This position will be a valued member of a dynamic, creative, collaborative professional learning community. The position entails providing Speech/Language services to students with IEPs, and 504 and EST plans. The position requires consultation time with teams, conducting evaluations, writing evaluation reports, screening students, developing and implementing IEP goals, monitoring progress, and completion of medicaid logs. The SLP will primarily work with preK and elementary age students, and with a small percentage of middle school students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based speech-language therapy services, evaluations, screeners, case management, and consultations to eligible students.
- Conduct standardized evaluation procedures and produce a variety of technical reports.
- Complete Medicaid paperwork as required
- Serve all roles as a part-time faculty member outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement
Minimum Qualifications:
- Vermont Speech/Language Pathologist licensure is required.
- Master’s Degree
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)- CFY candidates considered
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a public K-6/K-8 school environment
