As a Program Manager on the Customer Immersion Team, you will bridge the gap between product development and the target audience, incorporating client feedback to shape the roadmap. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams to ensure products meet audience needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end execution of Customer Immersions within the Monetization Product Team, including planning, recruitment, execution, synthesis, and sharing insights.
- Project manage initiatives by coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on high-level goals and execute agreed-upon milestones.
- Work extensively with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Data Science teams to design, launch, monitor, and analyze tests.
- Act as the main point of contact for Product, Sales, and Data Science teams to ensure seamless test execution. Manage and recruit for product tests with advertisers (e.g., alpha/beta tests).
- Effectively communicate insights to cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and User Research) to influence and drive roadmap prioritization. Use data and insights to develop scalable solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
- Communicate across audiences, understanding and utilizing escalation paths, and updating stakeholders. Liaise with Product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing.
- Facilitate meetings, discussions, and document project status and key decisions using internal project management tools.
- Inform, influence, and implement new processes based on analysis and impact metrics to enhance efficiency and support quality.
- Drive the delivery of multiple projects (1-6 months duration) from start to finish.
Required Qualifications:
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and unstructured problems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Open, collaborative, and proven team player with the ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
- Project management experience in managing strategic projects with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Ads/Digital Media operations.
- Experience in a startup environment and/or consulting.
- Proven client delivery experience.
- Creative problem solver with persistence.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Must have experience in a tech company (small or large enterprise). Experience in digital advertising is preferred but not required.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred (Marketing, Sales, Advertising, etc.).
- 8 years of work experience (project/program/marketing manager).
- 6 years of experience in consulting, startup, operations, or product strategy environment or 3 years with a Master's degree.
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Bay Area, CA)
Role type: Contract 6-7 Month Position
