In addition, as part of the application for this position, you will be sent and required to complete an Educator Performance Inventory (EPI) assessment, which should take about 45 minutes to an hour to complete. The EPI is a tool that helps assess your strengths, areas for improvement, potential for student growth, cognitive ability, and your teaching skills. The questions are selected at random from a large bank containing a wide range of subjects and scenarios. The results of this assessment are used by the building principals to assist in the screening process and help them determine how your personality and skill set could fill the vacant position. The numeric score given as a result of this assessment will not be shared with candidates as they will not have the materials needed to understand what the results indicate; however, the principals may use the information deduced from the assessment to help guide conversations and professional development should you be hired for this position.
