What you will enjoy doing*
- This role supports global consolidation, chart of accounts design/maintenance, treasury hedge transactions and joint venture accounting.
- The ideal candidate ensures clearly defined policies and procedures are in place to provide reasonable assurance that financial assets are protected.
- You will manage Sarbanes Oxley activities for US Locations relative to internal controls documentation, testing, and segregation of duties.
- You provide support for periodic internal and external financial audits and ensuring all agreed upon recommendations are implemented
- As well as ensures all US & Canada month-end closing activities are handled in a timely and accurate manager in compliance with company policies, US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- You must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification or MBA is preferred.
- 15 years of accounting experience with 10 years of management experience
- US GAAP Knowledge
- Sarbanes Oxley/404 compliance background
- Oracle & Hyperion experience a plus
- Excellent initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
- Detail oriented and able to work well with others in fast paced, energetic environment
