Job Overview:
Linde is looking for qualified applicants to fill the role of Fill Zone Technician. Candidate must demonstrate taking initiative in handling issues, be self-motivated, dependable, and work within a team environment. The Fill Zone Technician performs this role in an industrial environment, that adheres to the following guidelines: ISO, QA, NF, USP, FDA, EPA, OSHA, PSM, etc.
Typical duties include: Reviewing log book and receive shift change instructions, perform daily rounds, send email updates to key stakeholders, monitor inventory levels and communicate with Central Control Room for adjustments, maintain/calibrate analyzers (change out cylinders), review analyzer calibrations, assist drivers with Fill Zone issues and review Quality Assurance Records, opening and closing of valves, changing out sample lines, driving tractor/trailers in and out of fill zone, following Standard Operating Procedures, attaching fill connections for loading/purging/slow cooling, communicate issues with supervision, apply troubleshooting and critical thinking skills to manage daily tasks and issues that arise and any other tasks that maybe required to fulfill the duties of the Fill Tech.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Loading Cryogenic Product Trailers.
- Purging & Slow Cooling Cryogenic Product Trailers.
- Calibrate Fill Zone Product Analyzers.
- Interface with PALS Distribution Computer System.
- Assist Drivers with Paperwork and Troubleshoot Loading Issues
- Maintain general housekeeping of Q/A Building and Fill Zone Area.
- Drive Tractor/Trailers in and out of fill area.
- Assist with general maintenance activities that affect the Fill Zone equipment.
- Maintain Safety and Compliance at all times
Qualifications:
- Work 12 Hour Rotating Shift.
- Ability to be On-Call as required
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Ability to work outside in inclement weather
- Ability to Stand/Sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to lift/carry ~50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Computers Skills (Microsoft suite, Email, etc.)
- Follow written procedures (SSOP’s)
