Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Retoucher to join our creative managed services team supporting one of the world’s largest technology companies. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of aesthetics, and a passion for visual storytelling. As a Retoucher, you will work closely with our art directors, designers, and photographers to enhance and perfect images for various campaigns.

This is a 12-month contract, working remotely, with the possibility of going full-time once the contract portion is completed.

What You’ll Do:

• Retouch and enhance images for use in a variety of media, including print, digital, and social platforms
• Collaborate with art directors and designers to understand the visual goals and ensure consistency across all assets
• Correct color, adjust lighting, and remove imperfections to achieve the desired look and feel
• Composite multiple images to create seamless, high-quality final products.
• Maintain a high level of quality control and ensure all images meet our brand standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project timelines.
• Stay current with industry trends and retouching techniques to continually improve your skills and the quality of our work.

What You’ll Bring:

• 8 years of experience as a Retoucher in an advertising or entertainment environment
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other relevant software
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of retouching skills and high-quality work
• Excellent attention to detail and a discerning eye for color, composition, and lighting
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret and implement creative direction
• Experience with compositing and digital manipulation techniques
• Knowledge of color theory and color correction processes

• Utilization of technology:
• Proficiency with various computer software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, and project management platforms (e.g., Wrike), is indispensable. This entails precise manual dexterity and adept eye-hand coordination.
• Multi-tasking:
• The role demands adept management of multiple projects concurrently, necessitating the ability to prioritize effectively and seamlessly transition between tasks while upholding meticulous attention to detail.

The Pay:

• The hourly compensation range for this position in the selected city is $50-$70/hr. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, location, prior experience, and education.
