Title: Credit & Collection Analyst

About the Job:
The Credit & Collection Analyst will be responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts receivable and reviewing the creditworthiness of new and existing customers. This position will report to the Credit Manager.
Responsibilities (others may be assigned):
· Making customer contact via phone or email in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
· Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates and industry standards.
· Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management.
· Update and maintain credit files.
· Perform account and payment reconciliations and identify account disputes.
· Analyzing and assessing creditworthiness of existing and new customer base.
· Customer account maintenance that includes data entry.
· Communicate clearly with internal and external customers.
Experience and Skills:
· 2 years of corporate collection and credit analysis experience preferred
· Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills required.
· Ability to work independently and complete critical tasks with a sense of urgency.
· Ability to obtain and evaluate credit references and D&B reports.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
· Experience with M3 is a plus.
· A bachelor’s degree in finance or a related area is preferred.
