Job Title: Assistant Credit Manager
Reports To: Corporate Credit Manager
Job Summary:
Responsible for efficient and successful collection of commercial Accounts Receivable.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assesses creditworthiness of new and existing customers utilizing external credit risk management tools and reports to assign credit limit and payment terms
- Communicate credit decisions to sales force, ensuring timely review of new customers
- Manage credit efforts/calls for assigned accounts
- Document daily collection activity
- Research account disputes and billing discrepancies
- Perform account/payment reconciliation
- Interfaces with other departments to resolve credit and chargeback issues
- Identify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts
- Other projects as assigned by manager
Education/Experience/Skill:
- 5 years of experience in Credit and Collections
- Skilled at managing relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent negotiating and analytical skills
- Strong problem solving and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Knowledge of creditor rights & bankruptcy law
