About the Job:
We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Manager to oversee all aspects of sales marketing, managing data and collaborating with various departments. Key responsibilities include market research, econometrics forecasting, and market penetration analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Market Research:
- Conduct comprehensive market research on new equipment, used equipment, equipment rental, parts, and service.
- Econometrics Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain an econometrics forecasting model for all areas in Linder's footprint, incorporating industry and market segment statistics.
- Market Analysis:
- Evaluate market penetration by geographic area and identify opportunities for growth.
- Marketing Intelligence:
- Create and maintain economic and demographic intelligence modeling systems for all markets covered by the company, including marketing reports.
- Performance Metrics:
- Establish performance standards and measurement systems for market penetration by product or service.
- Surveys:
- Conduct market and opinion surveys to inform business decisions.
- Advertising:
- Develop and implement advertising programs to reach target audiences.
- Sales Materials:
- Develop and create sales documents and sales aids required to achieve company objectives.
- Communication:
- Communicate marketing information to the sales force and management.
- Progress Review:
- Continuously monitor progress in all markets to determine if sales and marketing goals are being met and recommend actions if goals are not being achieved.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
- Ten years of marketing experience, preferably in the equipment industry.
- Expertise in market systems and modeling techniques.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
