Who We Are
Position Purpose:
The individual in this position will lead the procurement of the Intercompany import portfolio of products, to include both Seasonal and Everyday products. The Import Supply Planner will act as the company’s procurement specialist for Intercompany Imports, working with cross-functional stakeholders across the company. They will create and maintain relationships with Lindt’s Subsidiaries/Group and be subject matter expert for all Intercompany imported items, a growing area of the business. The Import Supply Planner will ensure that the company’s inventory is managed effectively to meet the timing needs of our US customers to achieve high fulfillment rates and optimize profitability, while minimizing excess and obsolescence. This person will help the Intercompany department to optimize procurement processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
This is a hybrid role that requires three days per week in our Stratham, NH corporate office.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Intercompany Purchase Order Processing
- Plan and manage forecasts and all facets of purchase orders (in SAP and SAP APO) for Intercompany finished goods, packaging, bulk components and raw materials within the Intercompany group network to support Sales, Demand Planning, Retail, E-Commerce, B2B & Intercompany Export customers
- Maintain and update an item level rolling 12 month order forecast (ROFO) for each Lindt Subsidiary via SAP APO that reflects time-phased supply needs, considering inventory levels and demand
- Maintain PIR’s and Source Lists in SAP for all Intercompany import items
- Delivery of product to support timing of the master schedule plan for relabeling and repacking certain import products to support customer specific requirements
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing and New Products teams to support new imported items and collections
Planning, Analysis, Forecasting and Reporting
- Establish inventory strategies to protect service and minimize excess for Seasonal and Everyday import items
- Maintain a master list of all Everyday & Seasonal items which Intercompany is responsible for planning & buying
- Gather information received from sourcing companies to provide data needed for local item set up and maintenance to assure data accuracy across information systems
- Proactively identify constraints to find improvements and resolutions to mitigate impacts of capacity and production challenges; manage exceptions and problem solve; develop metric for benchmark and improvement
- Balance and optimize intercompany lead times to minimize supply chain costs and risks
- Facilitate the annual budget process in July/August time frame working with Demand Planning, Retail and Finance; Once final budget numbers are determined, upload budget numbers to SAP APO
- Monthly reporting of ROFO details and ROFO vs. Budget
Communication and Execution
- Manage relationships with global Intercompany suppliers and team members
- Cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders (Marketing, D2C, Wholesale Sales, Production Planning, Demand Planning & NP/PD) to alert them to risks and determine next steps to resolve issues and capitalize on opportunities
Actively communicate and report irregularities and quality claims with Lindt Subsidiaries to ensure prompt resolution of issues while still maintaining supply plan to meet demand

- Advanced Skills in Excel, Word, SAP, DevEx, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving & analytical ability
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with foreign cultures and people
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business or Supply Chain Management, Master’s degree preferred
- APICS, similar certification preferred
Total Rewards:
Compensation Range: $66,000 - $85,000 per year

Lindt USA’s salary range reflects market rates based on our size, revenue, and location. Starting pay is determined using a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience as well as market conditions. A bonus and/or long-term incentive may be included as part of this compensation package.
