Job overview
We are seeking a dynamic Overnight House Person to join our team! The primary job functions are making deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding; cleaning and maintaining public areas, guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring and work areas; completing any special projects as directed by housekeeping managers. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of the guest rooms and hallways, as well as the lobby and other workspaces
- Deliver requested amenities such as rollaway beds, cribs, blankets, etc. to guest rooms
- Check all allocated floors at the start of each shift and during the day to collect garbage, in-room dining trays, and other items as directed by management
- Ensure the highest level of customer service by anticipating and responding quickly to visitors' requests
- Restock linen supply on each floor by transporting clean linen to the housekeeping storage facilities
- Respond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues
- Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed
- Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with the Hotels Dress Code Policy.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One (1) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
