Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for creativity and collaboration? Lineal Inc., a husband-and-wife-owned custom residential architecture and construction company, is seeking a versatile Accounts Receivable & Administrative Assistant to join our close-knit team. This role will split time between managing accounts receivable and providing administrative support to the team.
At Lineal Inc., we focus on high-end, bespoke work, and we’re looking for someone who can thrive in a creative, family-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who is comfortable working closely with various team members, including project managers, the selection manager, and the bookkeeper.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (50%)
- Create and issue customer invoices.
- Track customer payments and ensure timely collections.
- Perform job cost reporting and updates.
- Maintain accurate job costs in Buildertrend (BT).
- Update invoices, payments, and change orders from Buildertrend (BT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Collaborate with the bookkeeper, project managers, and selection manager to understand job scopes for accurate invoicing and costing.
- Generate cost-to-complete reports for ongoing projects.
Administrative Assistance (50%)
- Provide general administrative support to the team, assisting with scheduling, communications, and office organization.
- Help prepare documents, reports, and presentations for internal and external use.
- Assist in managing office supplies and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate with various team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Accounts Receivable or a related field.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Buildertrend (BT) is highly desired but not required.
- Experience in the residential construction industry is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
