This job is a backend-focused Software Engineer on our Machine Learning team. Your focus will be building backend systems & ML infrastructure in conjunction with our ML team, primarily in Python.
Ideal Candidate
- Collaborated closely with data scientists to deploy features and machine learning models into production.
- Extensive professional experience in backend development.
- 3 years of experience in Software Engineering or ML Engineering in a production environment.
- Background at a leading high-growth startup, ideally in fintech or credit, is a plus but not a hard requirement.
- Skilled in building, maintaining, and debugging distributed machine learning infrastructure.
- Proven ability to design scalable backend systems with a thoughtful longterm outlook.
- Willingness to work onsite at our SF office 4-5 days a week.
