Position Overview:
The HRIS Analyst will support HR systems, manage data entry in the HCM system, and handle technical inquiries and system access requests. This role involves back-end configuration and data management tasks with flexibility for remote work, requiring strong technical, organizational, and HRIS knowledge.
Duties:
- Supports the HRIS Unit, which may include large volume of data entry in both the Time and Attendance System and Human Capital Management system.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR system users.
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HR system users.
- Managing mailboxes with customer requests/inquires for access and other needs.
- Audits and updates HRIS data fields as necessary.
- Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, and reports.
- Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Collaborates with HR staff and vendor to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
- Performs other duties as required.
- 3 years of experience working with, updating, and maintaining HRIS databases
- 3 years of experience understanding information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3 years of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred
