Position: Vice President
We are seeking a Vice President to join our expanding Washington, D.C., team. This leadership role is central to managing client engagements, driving business development, and leading teams in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development:
- Build and expand relationships with key stakeholders on Capitol Hill, in the advocacy community, and in the private sector to grow the firm’s client portfolio.
- Actively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, including drafting proposals, delivering pitches, and negotiating contracts.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create and implement strategic growth initiatives for the firm.
- Maintain and nurture client relationships to foster retention and identify upselling opportunities.
- Strategic Campaign Management:
- Develop and execute data-driven strategies to engage and persuade target audiences.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of direct advocacy campaigns tailored to client needs.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients to ensure objectives are met and deliverables exceed expectations.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team to ensure successful project execution.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and professional development.
- Actively contribute to the firm’s internal culture and overall success.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 preferably 10 years of experience in communications, legislative, lobbying or political roles with candidates, Members of Congress, Presidential Administrations, or party organizations.
- Strong network of relationships on Capitol Hill, within the advocacy community, and with potential corporate clients.
- Proven track record in sales, client acquisition, and managing business development initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills to inspire and guide teams.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
