Job Title : Entry-Level Machinist
Location : South Houston
Job Type : Full-Time (Temp-to-Perm)
Pay Range : $16-$18 per hour, based on experience
Schedule : Monday through Thursday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
Job Description : Link Staffing is seeking an entry-level machinist. This is a training position where the candidate will assist with the operation of various machining equipment under the supervision of an experienced Operator. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and contribute to maintaining machine operations, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities :
Assist in operating CNC lathes, Swiss-style CNC lathes, vertical machining centers, and manual machining equipment.
Support the Operator in keeping machines running smoothly.
Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Learn and apply basic machining techniques and practices.
Qualifications :
Some experience in machining is required.
Strong willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Skills :
Familiarity with machining equipment and basic hand tools.
Basic understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
