What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADA Compliance Specialist / SME position at Link Technologies?
Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas, NV based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking an ADA Compliance Specialist / SME to join our team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of five (5) years of experience completing ADA Compliance Audits or providing expert ADA compliance services.
SCOPE OF WORK
Provide training and technical assistance to the organization in complying with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and compile a report of dates and attendees.
Offer guidance for surveying polling locations for ADA Compliance.
Provide reports and assessments of completed surveys to the United State including documenting any disputes, and remediation information monthly.
Provide guidance for completing election day checklist for ADA Compliance that include notating any temporary measures and reporting these to the United States.
Analyze and report on data reflecting the organization’s progress in complying with the physical accessibility at poling locations.
Produce data and other information in a report or tabulated format that are accessible to the United States and the organization.
Give reasonable notice of any visit or inspection conducted at polling locations.
Review and provide recommendations regarding the organization’s use of each polling place or ballot drop box locations.
Review and analyze surveys and proposed remedial measures and assess the quality and sufficiency of the organization’s survey process and implementation of remedial measures.
Will provide the organization with technical assistance relating to any aspect of the physical accessibility of polling places.
