Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking an Oracle Database Programmer/Developer to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for upgrading or creating new Oracle database and data warehouse views, stored procedures, Unix Shell scripts, batch jobs, and other components transitioning from multiple legacy on-premises Oracle databases (12c and 19c) to a new cloud-based ERP database solution (Oracle 19c).
REQUIREMENTS
· Strong proficiency in Oracle's PL/SQL is REQUIRED.
· Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
· Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and Scheduler jobs (Cosmos or Automate).
· Knowledge of SQL*Loader and the mod_plsql package.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Capable of working both independently and within a team.
· Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Prior experience with ERP data integration projects is a plus.
· Must be able to pass a background check.
RESPONSIBILTIES
· Develop new PL/SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to support data integration between the legacy data warehouse and the new ERP.
· Modify and optimize existing PL/SQL code to improve performance and functionality.
· Collaborate with the project team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of data transfers.
· Document all developed code, scripts, and procedures thoroughly.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and interface functionality.
DELIVERABLES
· Functional and efficient PL/SQL code (or other scripting code as required).
· Documentation of developed code and procedures.
· Timely resolution of issues and bugs related to data interfaces.
