- Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Project Manager 2 to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY
This position will oversee project planning and implementation, create detailed project plans, and manage resources, timelines, and deliverables. This role will address gaps, reduce waste, resolve conflicts, and coordinate with teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion, delivering progress reports, proposals, and presentations as needed.
REQUIREMENTS- Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience as a project manager with a proven ability to apply project management expertise to successfully deliver agency projects with clear, measurable results.
- In-depth knowledge of PMBOK best practices
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is REQUIRED.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working with both state and federal government entities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and project management tools with the ability to create detailed project schedules that account for dependencies and resource allocations using standardized templates.
- Strong background in vendor management, leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders from different organizations, aligned with the State's highest priorities.
- Comfortable collaborating with senior state officials and actively contributing to the achievement of the state's goals.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, exercising considerable independence, initiative, and sound judgment.
PREFERRED SKILLS- Skilled in drafting reports, business correspondence, procedures and technical documentation.
- Proven experience in managing project budgets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Lead the project team to deliver the projects from beginning to project close.
- Drive planning, estimating, and facilitating training, analysis, and project implementation with project team (Vendors, program staff and jurisdiction subject matter experts.
- Vendor, Partner, and team management for successful implementation on time and in scope.
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget objectives meeting quality standards for a coordinated and successful implementation. This includes regular status reports on all objectives to the project sponsor and project teams; frequency determined by project sponsor.
- Assessment and mitigation planning for all project risks throughout the project lifecycle; well-defined strategies for working through issues.
- Lead all meetings and develop appropriate meeting documents.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
- Manage change management and deliverable management processes.
- Develop any necessary project management documents to execute the project deliverables. This includes presentations for executive leadership/project sponsor.
- Ability to think clearly and respond quickly to critical situations.
- Daily completion of all tasks listed in the scope of work for successful and timely implementation of the developmental services projects.
