Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Project Manager II to join our team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience with the following: o Leading data-related, programmatic, or Information Technology software development projects. o Working knowledge of Project Management Life Cycle phases. o Working knowledge of project documentation including charters, project plans, work breakdown structures, resource management, status reports, issues logs, action logs, and decision tracking documents. o Ability to analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues. o Ability to manage changes in project scope, resources, and budget. o Leading project teams to the successful completion of projects. o Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with the following: o Ability to communicate project progress and upcoming activities to project resources and all levels of project stakeholders. o Skill in interpersonal relationships, including working with people under pressure, negotiating among multiple parties, resolving conflicts, and maintaining effective working relationships. o Experience developing written policies and procedures. o Experience with data analytics, business intelligence, data management practices, and data governance.
PREFERRED
- Minimum of one (1) year of working knowledge of the DFPS systems/programs such as IMPACT.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing one to three (1 – 3) projects for the organization simultaneously using Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid project management methodologies; work involves implementing projects for the Office of Data and Systems Improvement (ODSI).
- Manages the project lifecycle process for ODSI with both internal and external business partners.
- Represents ODSI as a liaison to project teams and other partners, internal or external, empowered to make decisions on behalf of ODSI.
- Develops appropriate communications plans.
- Develops data related policy and procedures.
- Facilitates project meetings to align project team to goals and track project tasks.
