Job Summary
The Proposal Manager will play a key role in overseeing and managing the proposal development process for our water treatment projects and supplemental electrical labor services, specifically tailored to industrial mine water treatment and mining operations. This position will involve collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to develop and submit high-quality, competitive proposals for projects of both national and international significance. Duties
- Lead the proposal process from initiation through submission, ensuring proposals meet client requirements, timelines, and specifications for both water treatment and supplemental electrical labor projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, project managers, and technical specialists, to gather the necessary information for proposal creation.
- Develop and refine proposal documents, ensuring technical accuracy, clear messaging, and alignment with client goals for both water treatment and electrical labor aspects.
- Ensure proposals are delivered on time and adhere to submission guidelines, compliance, and quality standards.
- Prepare and manage essential project documentation, including work breakdown structures, risk registers, requests for information (RFIs), issues registers, and decisions logs for water treatment and electrical labor services.
- Assist in preparing project governance documents, such as Project Execution Plans, Quality Assurance Plans, Stakeholder Management Plans, and Risk Management Plans.
- Support cost, schedule, and performance tracking to ensure projects are executed efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment of project objectives and expectations.
- Engage with mining clients to understand their specific needs related to water treatment and electrical labor, and ensure these are reflected in proposal submissions.
- Participate in proposal reviews and strategy discussions to optimize proposal content and strategies.
- Ensure all proposals comply with internal governance procedures and client requirements.
- Maintain a library of proposal documents and materials for future use, ensuring all documents are updated and accurate.
- Monitor and manage changes in project scope and proposal adjustments as needed, supporting the project change control processes.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in proposal management, ideally in water treatment, mining, or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with both water treatment processes (especially industrial mine water) and supplemental electrical labor services for mining operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating clear, professional, and persuasive proposal content.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and quality assurance in proposals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, proposal management software, and project management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, electrical engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
