CNC Lathe & Mill Instructor

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate CNC Lathe & Mill Instructor to lead small classes of approximately 10 students through structured 8- to 12-week training programs. This role will focus on teaching CNC lathe and mill operation, including both Legacy machines and standard CNC milling and lathe equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to guide students through hands-on learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in the setup, operation, and programming of CNC lathes and mills.
- Provide hands-on training on both Legacy machines and modern CNC equipment.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment.
- Collaborate with program staff to continuously improve course content.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience operating and programming CNC mills and lathes (including Legacy machines).
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to break down complex machining concepts for beginners.
