Linn Area Credit Union is a not-for-profit, full-service financial organization with branches in Cedar Rapids and Marion, Iowa. We are very much a local organization serving a 22 county field of membership.
Job Summary
The individual in this position will be responsible for managing the processing, closing and post-closing functions of Commercial Credits. This person will provide support for deposit and loan activities within the Commercial Department in order to ensure an efficient and consistent management of commercial files. They will be responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies/procedures.

- Work with borrowers, team and vendor partners to efficiently process loan requests
- Gather, organize, and validate financial documentation requirements for new and existing commercial lending relationships
- Prepare closing documents, review loans and accurately transfer into our core system
- Track portfolio loan covenants and documentation to ensure the timely receipt of information
Skills and Qualifications
- One to three years of similar or related experience is preferred
- A bachelor's degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree
- Attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to identify and lead process improvement
- Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to use related software required
