Participate in departmental meetings for instructional design.

Required Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Associate's degree in Machine Tool or Manufacturing, and equivalent to five years full-time industrial experience including manual machining, CNC, and CAM.
- Ability to lecture and use instructional tools to deliver instruction, i.e. PowerPoint, DVD's.
- Ability to design instruction and do curriculum mapping. Ability to work as a team member.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Requires the ability to work with staff and students.
- Work is performed in a classroom setting with minimal exposure to safety or health hazards.
- Ability to stand, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Teach first and second-year courses in Machine Tool or Manufacturing Technology.
- Promotes excellence in instruction.
- Identifies and meets the learning needs of the students.
- Develops course schedules and syllabi.
- Plans, develops, and delivers classroom lectures and activities as well as writes tests and develops other methods to evaluate student progress and competence.
- Works effectively with students and staff of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds and ages and successfully interacts with supervisors, colleagues, and staff as part of an education team.
- Communicates effectively in oral and written English.
- Keeps accurate grade and attendance records.
