Performs complex accounting, property tax, and/or treasury work involving the independent application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Governmental Accounting Principles.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Manages Conservation grant accounting, reimbursement and reporting functions; assists Finance Department with federal grant audit process.Manages Conservation billing, invoice and claim processing through Govsense or related software.Prepares various financial reports for operating, revenue and capital budgets, along with project billing and budgeting management reports.Manages weekly department payroll through Dayforce or related software.Communicates with state agencies, other county departments, and political subdivisions. May serve as a lead worker to review the work of staff in their respective department. Performs all other related duties as assigned.
