The Linn County Conservation Department has 2 temporary (full-time) opening available for the 2025 summer season (June – August). These positions are based at the Linn County Wanatee Park Shop and will support Natural Resources and Vegetation Management related work.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Performs establishment and maintenance of native forest, prairie, and wetland ecosystemsRemoves and manages invasive species using mechanical and chemical means, such as chainsaws, backpack sprayers, and UTV spray units Other activities include tree planting, and maintenance, prairie installation, wetland plant establishment, trail maintenance, GIS mapping, and other park or natural area maintenance tasks as needed

Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
