Position: Roofing Repair Technician
Compensation: $20-35/hr
Linta Roofing is seeking an experienced and skilled Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about roofing and repair work, with a dedication to customer service and safety, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will have PROVEN experience in roofing repairs, and possess a strong customer-facing presence.
Responsibilities:
Repairs:
- Shingle repairs
- Pipe boots, vents, and related components
- Decking
- Flashing
- Soffit
- Rafters
- Fascia
- Dead valleys
- Skylights
- Siding work
- Metal roofing systems
- Flat roofing repairs (Liberty Roll, TPO, EPDM)
Customer Service:
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs
- Proactively call customers prior to scheduled repairs
- Request Google Reviews from customers post-service
- Represent Linta Roofing professionally and courteously when in the field
Technology:
- Utilize technology to communicate and document repairs
Management and Training:
- Train and manage apprentices/helpers on-site
- Assist in designing and implementing roofing repair training programs
Requirements:
- Proven experience in roofing repairs
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mentality
- Ability to train and mentor others
- Willingness and ability to use technology (apps, smartphone, etc.)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to lift 80 lbs
- Comfortable working on steep roofs
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (-30°F to 100°F)
