LinTech Global is looking for a Master Scheduler to support the IRS Criminal Investigation division (CI) TechOps I.T. Support contract in Washington, D.C.
Position Overview:
The Master Scheduler will be responsible for the creation, development, management, and execution of project schedules across complex, large-scale projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with contractual requirements and organization objectives. The Master Scheduler will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify resources, track project progress, forecast timelines, identify and document potential delays, risks and mitigation planning. The Master Scheduler will create schedules using standardized terminology, best practices and process guidelines based on the PMI PMBOK.

Responsibilities:
- Project Schedule Creation, Development & Management:
Create, develop, and manage detailed task area project schedules using MS Project based on the PMI PMBOK best practices in project management. Ensure alignment with team and customer requirements and resources. - Progress Tracking & Monitoring:
Track the progress of project tasks, milestones, and deliverables. Regularly update schedules to reflect actual work completed, and provide accurate forecasts for future work. - Resource Allocation:
Coordinate with managers and task area leads to identify, document and determine resource allocation requirements. Track resource utilization and adjust schedules to optimize resource availability to meet milestones and deadlines. - Risk Management:
Identify potential schedule risks, bottlenecks, and conflicts. Create and implement mitigation strategies minimize the impact of risks to the project. - Reporting & Communication:
Provide regular schedule updates, performance reports, and forecasts to key stakeholders. Present schedule variances and impact assessments to project management and leadership. - Change Control:
Manage the impact of project changes on the schedule. Update schedules as necessary following project changes and ensure proper communication of revised timelines. - Collaboration:
Work closely with managers, engineers, contractors, and customer stakeholders to integrate and align schedules across all contract task area disciplines and functions. - Compliance:
Ensure all project schedules comply with contractual obligations, company and customer policies, and project standards. Monitor the adherence to contract requirements, scope, budget, and time constraints.
- Clearance: Clearable US Citizen that is able to pass a background investigation in order to obtain a federal security clearance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in large-scale, complex projects involving Information Technology, infrastructure, or engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, and other project management tools such as Visio. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze and interpret project data to identify and categorize risks and create effective mitigation solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly convey complex schedule information to various key stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in schedule and documentation creation and their timely updates.
- Certification: PMP certification (active)
- Clearance:Public Trust (T4)
- Experience performing contract services and/or support to a Federal Government agency.
- Experience in managing schedules for multi-disciplinary projects within I.T. or Federal Government environments.
- Experience working with remote, geographically dispersed teams and distributed project environments.
