Senior Help Desk / Desktop Support Specialist

LOCATION : Boston, Massachusetts

  • Hybrid schedule with 1 remote day a week after an introductory onsite period and subject to change.

LinTech Global is recruiting a Senior Help Desk / Desktop Support Specialist to support a contract held by LinTech Global Inc. at the US EPA Region 1 Office in Boston, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES and SKILLS :

  • Oversee ticket queues in ServiceNow with a focus on ticket priority and meeting SLAs
  • Delegate and manage tasks
  • Laptop Support : Image, troubleshoot, and repair user laptops, assist with distribution and setups and provide one-on-one support with the customer.
  • Hardware support and troubleshooting : Desktop equipment (includes but not limited to computers, laptops, monitors, and peripheral local devices). Network connectivity from office connection to device - computers, laptops, printers, multi-function devices.
  • Software support and troubleshooting : Pertaining to Microsoft Office 365 and other proprietary software
  • Manage and update SOPs
  • Manage loaner equipment (laptops, projectors, and other IT equipment)
  • Knowledge of Windows 11
  • LAN Account Management
  • Remote access support : Provide support for troubleshooting remote access issues with GFE
  • Printing support : Including multi-functional devices, scanners and single function printers and plotters.
  • Work with EPA staff to provide Logical Access Control System (LACS) exemptions through the appropriate EPA tool and following the appropriate EPA policies
  • Maintain a user information center / Service Desk to address issues such as hardware, software, communications, applications, and program questions.
  • Provide support for user account management such Active Directory
  • Assist the ISO during any security related instances.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • Most importantly, must be dependable, have a positive attitude, be a "team player", and be able to manage multiple projects / issues simultaneously, be pro-active, maintain good records, and work well under pressure
  • OTHER REQUIREMENTS :

  • A Certification preferred
  • Experience managing technical teams
  • Experience managing large scale hardware and software deployment projects
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
