Job Summary:
Under the direction of the General Manager, Business Manager and/or Community Development Coordinator, the Community Compliance Inspector is responsible for enforcing Linville Land Harbor covenants, (deed restrictions) and policies to maintain community standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Become familiar with community neighborhoods, roads, covenants and policies.
· Investigate and address complaints regarding policy violations.
· Develop and maintain a regular schedule to monitor neighborhoods during normal business hours, nights (after 11 pm), and weekends.
· Conduct property inspections and document findings, including violations.
· Take documentary photographs for evidence of violations and send violation notices to property owners. Obtain police reports when necessary. Create detailed reports.
· Prepare and submit monthly and annual enforcement reports detailing enforcement to the General Manager.
· Correspond with property owners regarding violations and suggest remedies.
· Present unresolved violation cases to the Linville Land Harbor Hearing Panel and the POA Board of Directors when necessary.
· Research and provide recommendations for updates or modifications to the general rules, policies and unified development regulations.
Credentials and Experience:
· High school diploma or GED required; some post-secondary education preferred.
· Experience working with homeowner’s associations or municipalities is preferred but not required.
· A combination of education and experience will be considered.
· Proficient in using computer programs and databases, including Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to learn other software applications.
· Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
· Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
