This role plays a vital part in managing our financial transactions and ensuring accurate, efficient accounting processes.
Position Overview :
As an Accounts Payable / Accountant at Lion Energy, you will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable process, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting the general accounting function.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process and verify invoices from vendors, ensuring proper authorization and alignment with purchase orders.
- Manage payment processes, including checks, ACH, and electronic transfers, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions, resolving discrepancies and maintaining up-to-date records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing accounts payable reports and assisting with audits.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to manage account inquiries and resolve any payment issues.
- Assist in improving processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable workflow.
