Summary of Responsibilities
Ridgeway Investments, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This part-time position, based in Provo, UT, reports directly to the CFO and supports the accounting department with essential tasks to ensure the smooth processing of vendor payments, invoice reconciliations, and more. You will play a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process and verify vendor invoices in line with company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile invoices against contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Confirm account status with vendors and resolve any discrepancies.
- Communicate with managers to secure timely approval of invoices.
- Review and code credit card purchases accurately.
- Conduct credit card audits and work order reviews.
- Track and maintain records for contractor lien waivers, insurance certificates, licenses, and tax identification.
- Organize, file, and maintain accounting documentation and records.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Perform additional administrative or accounting duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Current enrollment in an Accounting or related degree program is highly preferred.
