Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our footprint in the pharmaceutical logistics sector. The ideal candidate has a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and B2B sales, with a focus on temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals.
✅ Sales & Business Development:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the pharma logistics sector.
- Build strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and healthcare organizations.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and customer needs.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
✅ Client & Account Management:
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring top-tier service.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, compliance) to tailor logistics solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on GDP-compliant pharma logistics services.
✅ Industry Networking & Market Analysis:
- Represent Lion International Logistics at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
- Provide market insights and recommendations for service enhancements.
🔹 Proven experience (3 years) in business development, sales, or account management within pharma logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
🔹 Strong knowledge of GDP regulations, cold chain logistics, and pharmaceutical transportation.
🔹 Established network in the pharma, biotech, or healthcare industry.
🔹 Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
🔹 Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
🔹 Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
🔹 Fluent in English (Spanish or German is a plus).
