Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Christian PBL teacher to share their gift of teaching in a homeschool hybrid environment for the Fall 2025 semester (August - December 2025). As a teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere for students. You will play a crucial role in their enrichment education and personal development.
Positions Available: Experienced PBL Teacher
Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging projects that inspire learning and align with the semester curriculum, as well as the vision of the program.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Provide support to students who require extra assistance or have special needs
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and school administrators to ensure student and program success
- Foster a love of learning by incorporating interactive activities and projects into the curriculum
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in accordance with program policies
- Utilize technology and other resources as needed to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Assist with daily set up and clean up
School Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; teaching days may vary based on curriculum/specialty
Hours per Week: 5 - 10 based on curriculum/specialty
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project-Based Learning educator (required)
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Education or a related field (required)
- Valid teaching certification/license (preferred)
- Proven experience as a school teacher or similar role (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Passion for educating children and helping them reach their full potential
