Lipari Foods has an opening for a Transportation Supervisor out of Melrose Park, IL.
This position will provide a first point of contact for drivers based out of this specific region. Key Responsibilities:- Helping drivers with day to day issues
- Conducting weekly meetings with drivers to address issues, questions, and concerns
- Aiding in the recruiting / hiring process
- Covering routes / shuttles when needed due to call offs or openings
- Accurately logging POs, call offs, and pay issues
- Navigate and handle any customer issues that might arise
- Oversee equipment maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness
- Communicate with 3rd party vendors to ensure timeliness of repairs and maintenance
