Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Administrative Assistant is to provide office support to Houston Personnel. That support includes business letters, comparison of and spreadsheets.. Additional duties include billing and invoice processing, and customer service.
Essential Functions:
- Review work orders from the Internal/External Customers for incorrect data and comparing the work orders to the report.
- Posting of work orders and billing
- Processing invoices
- Create credit memos as needed to correct billing errors
- Provide excellent customer service to on site customers, telephone customers, workers and vendors
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, vendors and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Accept COD payments and process them correctly when needed
- Business Correspondence
- Files
- Perform research as needed on behalf of customers, auditors, regulatory agencies, management and others
- Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS
Required Education, Employment Experience and Skills (Must Haves):
Education:
- High School degree or equivalent
Employment Experience and Skills:
- Two years experience in general office experience
- In depth, solid working understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel
- Experience with Access, PowerPoint and Outlook a plus.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Working Environment:
- There are no special physical requirements for this position.

- Light lifting and bending
