Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Directly Supervise leads and service technicians / FST.
  • Assit in Hiring, training, coaching and discipline of service technicians / FST.
  • Assess strengths and training needs of crew memebers and acknowledge well-dones.
  • Weekly crew visits with assigned drivers to help in coaching, trouble shooting, and problem solving.
  • Weekly ride alongs with crew members to evaluate safety and performance.
  • Oversee repair of all tools, trucks, vans and equipment as needed.
  • Meet FST’s on job sites to help coach through jobs for skill improvement and safety awareness.
  • Provide assistance with difficult jobs for problem solving as requested by dispatch or management
  • Over see daily pretrips, equipment repair of vans and trucks.
  • Follow up on customer complaints, resolve and educate crew.
  • Continually evaluate operations in relation to the work performance. Provide administrative support in tracking FloHawks systems and other as needed.
  • Maintain and enforce safety standards as established and required by the State and Company policy.
  • Set up, organize and coordinate large and industrial jobs as needed.
  • Be aware of operations of other divisions, observing that company values and policies consistently maintained.

  • Conceptual skills - ability to see entire program objectives, ensuring that individual sub-tasks work within the framework of the company's objectives.
  • Customer relations - ability to relate to customers with an attitude of friendliness while conveying confidence in our professionalism.
  • Systems oriented – FloHawks success depends on systems and procedures being followed, so this person must be passionate about maintaining our processes

Specific tasks of job responsibilities:

 

Daily Tasks:

  • Constantly evaluate the personnel needs, guide, train and instruct individuals as needed.
  • Provide the individual with opportunities to learn and grow.
  • Establish and maintain open communications with staff and incorporate individual ideas and concepts for improving the division whenever applicable.
  • Continually grow and improve the people, which requires teaching, showing how to lead, inspiring our people to achieve what they can be, growing new leaders, and helping people see and live the vision and mission.
  • Discipline, stage one, two & three
  • Responsible to enforce the stages of progressive discipline. Stage one is a verbal warning that is documented on tracking spread sheet, or in the employee file, it can be supported by documents such as pictures, Service Titan job tickets etc. Stage two is any type of written warning to clarify what is expected but carries no financial impact to the employee. Stage two documentation must be included in the employee file signed by the employee and the employee and union given a copy. 
  • Assist with stage three discipline which requires a financial impact to the employee. Termination requires approval of Regional VP (JR Inman), Liquid Enviro VP/Management (Fln Neve)
  • Cheerleader safety program
  • Strongly encourage and motivate through example attendance at "All Employee" safety meetings, tool box talks, and all related safety programs.
  • Monitor and coach driving behaviors as identified by Lytx in-vehicle cameras
  • Report all accidents immediately to the Flohawks Operations Director, and FloHawks VP. Other reporting as required by company policy. Responsible for enforcing use of all proper safety equipment in and out of vehicles. Know and understand all safety standards as established and required by the State and company policy.
  • Confirm Processes followed
  • Review performance measuring reports, Service Titan to Fleet tracking, Cash returns, recalls etc. for continual improvement and goal accomplishment.
  • Maintain good working relationship and strive to build teamwork within the team and the division's structure. Meet drivers on job sites daily to coach, trouble shoot and solve problems as needed.
  • Monitor delegated tasks and duties to be certain everything is getting done timely and properly.
  • Assure that everyone is doing what they are supposed to and that everything gets done.
  • Assist dispatch and be of service as needed for smooth operation of workflow within entire division.
  • Assure compliance with all DOT requirements / regulations.
  • Consistently estimate and plan projections compared to actual inventory and production.
  • Use a daily planner, Outlook, Franklin or what ever works for you but use it all of the time.
  • Quiet time planning
  • Set aside a few minutes away from the hustle and bussle to update your daily planner, prioritize your tasks for the day and look at the future week for planning and follow up of commitments etc.
  • Handle problems, complaints.
  • Be the person that teaches others in the department how to handle problems immediately. If a problem is too large or strange for everyday problem solving then personally handle it or get help from Operations Director or FloHawks VP.

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:

  • 1 years experience in any of the following. (Septic or Grease Pumping, Draincleaning, ET, Plumbing, Electrical)
  • Clean driving record.
  • 2 years Supervisory / Leadership experience.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem solving ability in FloHawks or related fields.
  • Computer aptitude.
