We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Auto Body Technician!

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to perform a variety of repair tasks on vehicles, including collision repairs, frame straightening, dent removal, and general bodywork. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and restore damaged vehicles to original specifications.
• Assess vehicle damage, develop repair plans, and estimate labor and material costs.
• Perform metal straightening, frame alignment, and weld repairs.
• Replace and repair body parts, including bumpers, fenders, doors, and hoods.
• Sand, prime, and paint vehicle surfaces to achieve a smooth finish.
• Use diagnostic equipment to ensure repairs are aligned with manufacturer standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to prioritize jobs and ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Keep detailed records of repairs and materials used.
• Assist with the training of junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, including welding, frame straightening, and paintwork.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and understand repair manuals and blueprints.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• I-Car, ASE Certification or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $24.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
