The project manager is a vital function for Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD as this organized and experienced person delivers various projects by organizing the entire process from Vision to Build.  The project manager designer is passionate about delivering high-quality results and has a strong resume showcasing organizational expertise, excellent project management skills, and the ability to provide clear and effective guidance to a team.

 

·       Bachelor’s degree in related field

·       3 years of successfully managing medium to large projects

·       Strong evidence of being a profitable team leader

·       High level of analytical skills: Proficiency in using budgeting analysis (MS Excel creation) and doing job related research; Experience in getting previous work done on time and on budget is critical.  Knowledge of how to create a project schedule is important, should be previously trained on a scheduling software program (MS Project)

·       Understanding of how long design and production tasks should take to be completed

·       Knowledge of how to measure up the Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD consultants to ensure the project processes smoothly.

·       Knowledge of functional analysis and space planning principles

·       Varied portfolio of past project types that can be drawn on while leading

·       MS Excel and MS Word skills for creation, editing, and writing skills for project communication, budgeting, and narrative writing. 

·       Problem solving skills and the ability to connect to your team

·       Acknowledgement and respect of project deadlines

·       Proactive communication skills

·       Ability to apply “lessons learned” to future design solutions

·       Ability to create “the why” for your projects team

·       Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field

·       Strong organizational, people management and leadership skills

·       Fluency in current technology

·       Presentation software knowledge a plus (photoshop/other)

·       Working knowledge of architectural, sign, and furniture manufacturers

·       Strong connection to the local representative community

·       Firm representation/attendance at Industry events within the local or national project community

·       Strong emotional EQ

  

·       Support the design and project leads on your projects

·       Construction cost estimating – have the cost comparison knowledge to estimate a project budget.  Have the ability to do effective value engineering to guide the team back to the budget when needed.

·       Execute tasks as required by the team which may include client interface, research, design, presentation, construction documents, finish selection, construction site visits, and other tasks

·       Track schedule, contract, and deliverables as required by the team

·       At all times, deliver product and services with a great attitude and high professional standards.

·       Create a professional network either personally or through social media channels

As a regular, full-time employee, you are eligible to participate in all of Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD sponsored benefits, plans and activities. Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD offers comprehensive medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and 401(k) plan. Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD is pleased to provide 100% coverage for employee medical, dental and vision plans. If you choose to add additional dependents this will be at a cost to you and deducted from your paycheck each pay period (pre-tax). In addition to offering the 401(k) plan Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD offers and Employee Ownership Plan.

 

You will accrue vacation at a rate of 1.54 hours for each pay period, (40 hours per year, or 1 week) for the first 4 years.  After 4 years of employment, you will accrue vacation at a rate of 3.08 hours for each pay period, (80 hours per year, or 2 weeks). In addition to your vacation accrual, you will receive twelve (12) paid holidays and you will receive forty (40) hours sick leave per year immediately upon hire.

 

At Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD we offer two regular work schedules: 8 hours/5 days per week or a 9 hours Monday thru Thursday and a 4 hour Friday. Within these hours we offer a hybrid work model of in office and remote working.

  

Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD also supports and will provide one paid membership to a professional organization related to your employment area of interest. Pursuit of other professional certifications and licenses may also be supported. You and Leadership will discuss these opportunities when establishing your yearly career goals. The value of these items will need to be approved prior to attending.
